Hi, I’m Sam.

I made AAC Pages to help kids who can’t rely on speech to communicate, and to share useful resources with their parents and speech therapists.

I started by making AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) pages for my daughter’s TouchChat setup. I wanted to share them so other families and therapists could download individual pages and linked page packages to support children in expressing themselves, making choices, and joining in everyday life.

These downloads are designed for the TouchChat setup my daughter uses. Please check each file with your own TouchChat setup before adding it to an everyday vocabulary.

I add new pages frequently, with more activities, interests, and everyday topics to explore.

What you can do here

Search for an activity or a word, try its interactive board, and download a native TouchChat .ce file. Preview pictures are available for viewing or printing. What informed the topics?

We reviewed ASHA’s AAC guidance, PRC-Saltillo’s AAC Language Lab, and AssistiveWare’s communication-partner guidance. These resources support meaningful daily activities, varied communication purposes, and vocabulary chosen with the communicator.

The pages are original supplements, not copied therapy materials or an endorsed clinical program. Age labels help browse interests and settings; they do not assign ability. Pick the useful pages rather than adding everything.

How the library is maintained

The project creates activity vocabulary, page layouts, linked menus, interactive previews and native exports. Source checks cover export integrity, pictures, spoken words, button positions and navigation links. Content, illustration and connected-set corrections are part of the library’s ongoing maintenance. These file checks are different from real-device testing.

New linked sets are labeled as device-test drafts. Import a new file separately, check pictures, spoken messages and navigation in TouchChat, and back up the everyday vocabulary before copying pages. Development notes and references describe the linked sets.

Pictures and device checks

Pictures include original illustrations, licensed symbols, colorful Lucide cues and identifying app or show artwork. Picture sources and holiday credits document sources and reuse limits. Source links alone do not grant permission to reuse third-party pictures. They are illustrative, not a standardized clinical symbol set. Personalize unfamiliar pictures. The download format and picture repair worked in a parent’s TouchChat test; each new file is checked for its images, words, layout, and Home/Clear actions. Every page has not been individually tested on an iPad.
